Alright. It's sembreak now so I have a bit of time. Here are Yamapi's, Tegoshi's, and Massu's interviews from the November issue of WinkUp. Well, they're not really as accurate as I'd like, coz maa~ I'm not really fluent in Japanese and I'm still learning (which is why I attempt to translate things). But if anyone's curious, I still use a kanji dictionary (Souji) for more than three-fourths of the kanji I see. >___< hahaha. And I don't remember them at all. *fails*
I hope anyone who reads my not-so-good translations get to understand what they're saying anyhow. But that's the important part isn't it? Anyway I'm rambling. Gomen. XDDD
Yamapi's part
Among the members who can you do an imitation of?
- Maybe...I think I can do Tegoshi. When I was watching the DVD, there was a shout I thought was me, but it was Tegoshi. It was really similar to mine--that shout. That's why I think I can do it. If it were gestures, I cand do Ryo-chan's way of walking.
If you were to change your image, whose opinion will you listen to?
- I definitely won't listen to anyone's opinion (laugh). If I were to change my image, I want to change into something I like. If I told someone, "Is it better this way?" and while the person says "Ahh...I think so...", in the end, I decide by myself ne. If I were to change my image right now, I'll make myself bald! (laugh) I want to try it yo, being bald. The shape of my head is really nice, it'll be alright if I become bald. I wonder if I'll have roles that are bald? Then I'd kill two birds with one stone. I can do work and be bald at the same time....or probably not. (laugh)
On the opposite, if you made yourself produce an image-change, who and what sort?
- I want Shige to make his mohican bigger. I really think it suits him. If he shortens all of his hair, the mohican would stand out more ne. The color it is now, or a bit tea-colored is fine. His clothes are "no-touch" ne. Because if I change his hairstyle, Shige will change his clothing style to make them go together, I think.
Who is the member you most recently contacted?
- It's Massu, I think. When "MachiMasu" started, I sent him water ne. After that a message saying, "Thank you very much" came. So the "Today, do your best, ne" mail that I replied was the most recent, I think. When I contact people, if it's urgent, I call, and if it's not, I send mail. But basically I only contact people when it's urgent, ne. So naturally, I call a lot more. Among the members, the one I contact the most is Ryo-chan. The one I contact and meet with the most is Ryo-chan ne. We contact each other to meet up. There's also a pattern where when I go somewhere, Ryo-chan is also there by chance.
Who is the member you think is going to be a good father in the future?
- Koyama. He won't get mad at kids. I think he will be a really kind father. As for kids, I think that boys would be better, coz I get the feeling they'll play together. On the other hand, the member who seems far from being a father is Massu, probably. It's only Massu who I can't see being a father figure ne. Me? I think I'm going to be a kind father too. If it's a girl, I'll probably be a father who doesn't want his daughter to become a bride. If it's a boy, we'll play together. But I might be unexpectedly loose with them. On Saturdays I'll do things with my family, but on weekdays, I'll pursue something that I enjoy by myself.
If you were in the same class, who do you think will be the most popular?
- I think everyone is really popular yo. But I think Ryo-chan is the most popular. His mouth can be really harsh but he's a surprisingly kind person ne. That's the reason he's popular. The type who has a lot of female friends is...definitely not me. (laugh) That's Koyama ne.
Tegoshi's part
Among the members who can you do an imitation of?
- I think I can do everyone's imitation. Like Massu's "Miso Soup" and Kei-chan's "Ta~n" ne. Nishikido-kun's singing voice and the way he gets embarrassed right after releasing his poison tongue, I can do that too. I think I can imitate the way Shige sings too. Yamashita-kun...which is it? He's the most difficult ne.
If you were to change your image, whose opinion will you listen to?
- I'll listen to Nishikido-kun's advice yo. I used to bring branded bags, but Nishikido-kun said "It's alright if you don't bring branded bags yo. Otherwise you'll become a brand yourself." Since the day after that, I stopped bringing that bag ne. If I were to change my image, I want to listen to Nishikido-kun's opinion. On the other hand, the person I don't want to ask is Massu. Our fashion senses are too different. (laugh) I'm the type who wears black and tight clothes, and Massu is the colorful and cute type. If I want to completely change myself, then I think I'll ask Massu then.
On the opposite, if you made yourself produce an image-change, who and what sort?
- I'll make Yamashita-kun wear really sucky clothes. I want to see if he'd look good despite it. I'll make his hairstyle suck too yo. Something like bald that makes you feel like your head was shaved by the instructor of the exercise club. His fashion would be like mine 4 years ago. Like wearing a polka-dot jacket and sand-colored shorts. That's cruel right? (laugh) But if he still looks good in that, it would be scary na~
Who is the member you most recently contacted?
- Massu. I had filming for a drama so I wasn't able to go watch "MachiMasu". So with a feeling of "I'm sorry I wasn't able to watch", in a katsura (topknot wig), I filmed a movie (video message) and sent it ne. That was during the last day of "MachiMasu". On the first day, I wrote a letter yo. It was a letter saying "Do your best!" because the first day gives you a unique kind of nervous feeling, I tried writing a letter thinking that it might give him a bit of strength.
Who is the member you think is going to be a good father in the future?
- Nishikido-kun. Everyone can be one, but Nishikido-kun especially seems like he always thinks of his family first ne. So I want to be really kind to my own children. Nishikido-kun's daughters will be good~ I think he'll dote on them. (laughs) If in the future his daughter will have a boyfriend, he'll closely examine him to see whether or not the guy is alright. Maa, I think I'll be that way too though.
If you were in the same class, who do you think will be the most popular?
- Massu and Ryo-chan. They're too different types of men. A prince type and a friend type. Between the two, the usual guy that I think I'd want to go out with is teh friend type ne. Yamashita-kun, Nishikido-kun, and Shige are completely the prince type, right? They're like the striking picture type ne. The ones who seem approachable and kind are Massu and Ryo-chan. That's why those two will be the popular ones ne. Me? Completely not.(laugh) I'm neither the prince type or the friend type. I'm only half way there, I think.
Massu's part
Among the members who can you do an imitation of?
- Everyone has their own characteristics, so if I'm in the mood to, I think I can do it. Even just seeing the silhouettes you can tell who's dancing right? Koyama moves his whole body quickly. The way he counts is not what you'd call fast, it's not "pa~n" but more like "PAN!" right? Yamashita-kun is better at singing than dancing ne. He's the one who doesn't have a characteristic singing voice ne. I immediately know that "This is Yamashita-kun." That kind of person's voice is a great weapon that I think I envy him ne. Actually, if I were to imitate someone it would be Shige. The moment Shige says "Oh, the tension rose."
If you were to change your image, whose opinion will you listen to?
- I definitely won't listen to anyone. Constantly, people tell me that I should perm my hair, but I feel like just going "fuuu~n" at them. (laugh) But there are times that when people tell me, I feel like I don't want to do it anymore.
On the opposite, if you made yourself produce an image-change, who and what sort?
- This one's Shige too. The usual Shige is kind of rock image. The loose, casual, fashionable rock. I want to put color to that kind of Shige (laugh). Like half-length pants and tank tops, and really minimal accessories. How cool will he look like, I wonder...I want to try it. Right now if I imagine Shige like that, I feel like I want to say sorry. (laugh) But if I get serious about it, I'm confident that it'll be a success yo!
Who is the member you most recently contacted?
- Tegoshi and Yamashita-kun. When I was doing the one-man show, I received mail from Yamashita-kun saying "Do your best ne!" After that Tegoshi sent me a movie-image. He was in the middle of filming. Tegoshi in a topknot said "Adios!" I really don't get what that movie(mail) was about. (laugh)
Who is the member you think is going to be a good father in the future?
- Nishikido-kun. He's always like a man, he'll always make sure to make his children happy. But after, he'll be a father who'll tell his kids clearly what can't be done. Yappari, when you say father, it's better to have a bit of scary presence I think. "Mom is good, but listen to your dad." I want Nishikido-kun to be a father with that kind of dignity.
If you were in the same class, who do you think will be the most popular?
- That person! hmm...who could it be? Masuda-kun? That guy is popular ne, surely, because he's always exercising. During elementary school, someone who's always exercising = popular. In fact, that kind of popularity really existed yo. But when I went to high school, that kind became not good. (laugh) When I was in middle school, except for appearance, if people say "what an interesting person", then your points will go higher ne. That's what it means but of course, Masuda-kun, more than anyone else, was left out yo.

I hope those translations up there made sense. Sometimes I can't make sense of some of them either. =___=;; I should really study more, ne? (or at least I need someone who can teach me like one-on-one or face-to-face)
Anyway, I'll post up Shige's, Ryo's, and Koyama's when I'm done with all of them. ^^

Yeah I know. Me = freak who doesn't listen to songs she can understand.
I know the activity of singles on Oricon better than I know the latest radio charts in my own country. =__=;; I can't even name one song on the radio charts. So there.
I just watched Arashi's performance of We Can Make It! and OMG I LOVED IT!!!
It is SO ARASHI.
1. The outfits were perfect.
2. The song was perfect! I never really appreciated this song as much until today. Well, the first time I heard it, I had it looped for about half an hour. hehe ^^ But damn, this song is GREAT!! I like it a lot better than LSS actually. hopefully, this song will get A LOT more promos than LSS. it should or I'll shoot Johnny-san myself.
3. The dance was sugoi~!!! I love the dance, mainly because they stopped trying to be "cute" and they're back to the hardcore Arashi-dancing that they're known for. It's always amazed me how Arashi can sing AND dance at the same time so well while holding their mics. Most JE groups just do simple hand gestures, right? fuwaa~
4. I seriously missed SakuRap (coz Aozora Pedal and LSS didn't have it). It really made me happy. ^^
5. I LOVE JUN'S non-Domyouji HAIR!!!!
I haven't watched the talk part yet coz I can't contain the excitement I felt while watching the performance. <3 <3 <3 It is SUPER LOVE.
Another thing...Love So Sweet was number two on Oricon for the month of March! It's understandable coz Flavor of Life is number one, and it exceeds almost all the singles there by a huge margin.
Hoshi wo Mezashite is out of the top 10 after less than a month. :( I wonder if they will be topping the April charts? I mean, Love So Sweet was released Feb 21 and still topped the whole of March. It's mid April and HwM is dropping...will they make it? (pun unintended)

1. Nino slapped Aiba on the head. LOL. Sho shouting "Are you listening?!?" LMAO!. Aiba hit the table and broke a glass. ROFL~!!!

3. Jun started talking about No Border. And I'm so amused to hear him call Takki "Takki" and Hina "Hina" (amused me coz I only hear Kanjani8 call him Hina) and Pi "Yamapi" (amused me most because it's not particularly common that people in the Jimusho call Yamapi by his nickname since it's almost always "Yamashita-kun" even among NEWS members except Ryo-chan and Koyama). Yappari, sempai ne~ and still so respectful to Koichi-kun and Yamaguchi-kun. I wonder why he didn't mention the rest like Toma (I want to hear more about Toma~).
4. I *squeeeeeeeee* at the debut clip. Nino hasn't changed much ne? And Jun looks so dorky! LOL. What Aiba said in answer to Ogura-san's question seemed scripted! I laughed.
5. I want to know what Ogura-san wrote about them. They're all KANJI!!! *fails at Japanese* all I understood was that Jun was "unexpected" or "unpredictable" whatever and Nino was "natural". I have no idea about the others but I REALLY REALLY want to know what he said. =__=;;
6. LOL at Aiba's behind-the-scenes photo. "ii chikubi desu~" hahaha~ sou desu ne~?
7. Nino brings his DS everywhere! LOL at gamefreak~! while everyone was checking the video, he was way at the back sitting with his DS in his hands almost oblivious to the other hardworking people around him! sasuga Nino~

I miss Kusanotti~!
Because of my biased self, I think someone would eventually kill me. I love NewS and all that, but I can't deny that I love Arashi a whole lot more. And compared to Arashi, I see NewS as no more than little kids. I even laugh at how old Arashi is already when I think about it. I mean the oldest member of NewS (Koyama) is a year younger than the youngest member of Arashi (Jun).
A while ago I was complaining about how there's too much publicity of NewS' Hoshi wo Mezashite and too little for Arashi's Love so Sweet.
I just got wind of how Hoshi wo Mezashite was doing in the Oricon charts. I now regret that I didn't keep record of Love so Sweet's progression at Oricon. Apparently, after, what, 3 days (and it's almost the end of the week)? HwM still hasn't reached the 200 000. It sold around 60 000 on the first day. (Someone tell me how much Arashi sold plstnx)
It's not really bad news for NewS, though. But seeing/knowing this combined with the fact that I'm annoyed at how Arashi gets less publicity than NewS, iyaaa~ it's bad but I'm not sad at all for NewS. Actually, I'll be happy if Arashi gets more sales than them! >:) *is evil*
*dodges NewS fans' angry random stuff throwing*
I'll wait for the weekly results and we'll see. If they do get more than Arashi, I'll be a bit disappointed, but them I'm a fan of NewS too so I'll be happy either way. ^^
edit: However, it is wonderfully amazing that Love so Sweet is still in the TOP 10 singles chart after more than a month!
I can't wait for Arashi's new single!! I hope they get a LOT MORE promotions this time than for Love so Sweet. We really just can't get enough of them. hee~ ^^
Downloading Odoroki no Arashi right now. I probably won't get to watch until I come home from my Chemistry test this afternoon (which I still have to cram studying for O__O).kyaaa~ I can't wait! ^^

I will certainly never stop loving these boys. Love so Sweet performance was sugoi~! plus those lovely Arashi x NewS moments.
YES. NewS and Arashi together in one show! Isn't that heaven?! ^^ The bestest guys all together!! Kyaaaaaaa~ Jun, Aiba, Nino, Sho, and Ohno...all together with Yamapi, Ryo, (and the rest of the NewS boys, but personally I like Tego and Masu ^^ Hee. Koyama's amusing, and Shige...well. He's okay. I'm a fan of NewS now as well. Hee ^^ My fandom just keeps growing...)
There was even a MatsuJun / Ryo moment! *squeeeeeeeeeee* ♥ ♥
